Man On Fire signed to ProgRock Records

What better way to start a new month than by signing a fantastic new band by the name of "Man On Fire". Their debut release on ProgRock Records (their first CD was self released) is "The Undefined Design" and it's really great, a unique sound but definitely something that most people will enjoy. The response to ProgRock Records has been so enthusiastic that we are getting more and more people asking if they can just resell their albums at our site, so we decided to go ahead and start doing that. Well 24 hours seemed like a long enough break this time between signing bands. By a very strange twist of fate the band Chain came to us, originally from Germany, and still partially in Germany, the mastermind is now within an hour of the ProgRock Records world headquarters. We are very happy to announce our first official act on ProgRock Records. They are Sweatin' Like Nixon out of New York. The best single reference to this band would be Frank Zappa, drawing influences from many artists this band is the next generation of 'prog rock'. They keep it funky, heavy, light, jazzy....and BOOTIE-LICIOUS.

After taking almost a month off of signing new bands, we are happy to announce that German band Spyral is part of our family. Spyral has a heavier sound and is quite enjoyable to listen to.

We've just signed a new band called Little Atlas out of Florida, you might have heard their 2 demo's playing on ProgRock.com. We're very excited about these guys, and their demo's have been very popular. We will be making their debut CD available in April 2003, anyone that purchases the album before it is shipped will receive an autographed copy by the band.
