Sylvan - Deliverance

Out of Print
After years of waiting the first SYLVAN CD "DELIVERANCE" is available again, and it‘s a Special Edition! Beside a narrowly mixed artwork and an overworked version of "A Fairytale Ending", the special edition contains a bonus CD with the 12 1/2 minutes prog epic "The Lie".

This song based on unreleased material from the "Deliverance" writing sessions, and was recored specially for this edition!

Here is the original album description:

With their first album "Deliverance" recorded in 1998, SYLVAN opens the door to a secret world. The music played by this band from Hamburg takes you to a journey filled with miracles, dreams, love and passion. The album consists of eight superb tracks which enchant the listener with their excellent construction and elegant atmospheres. Fantastic vocals, unforgettable melodies, dazzling guitar parts and cascades of keyboard notes show that the music of this group is based on an ever-changing palette of sounds and emotions. Reaching rarely attained standards within progressive rock, the powerful and expressive vocals is not the smallest asset of those nice German. Frequently compared to groups like MARILLION or IQ, SYLVAN successfully adds a new facet to the gem of Nineties neo Progressive.
